Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network (DAWN)

The Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network provides support to West Sussex residents of all ages who are affected by drugs and alcohol, to include the person who is using drugs and/or alcohol, their loved ones who offer support, and the wider community.

Change, Grow, Live is the national health and social care charity that leads the network, which is supported by a range of local, expert partners.

Support for Children and Young People (Under 25 years-old)

The West Sussex Children and Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service (under 25 years old) works across the whole of West Sussex. Due to the current situation the service is not able to offer face-to-face appointments but telephone support from the friendly, non-judgmental team is still available. The service is confidential (within safeguarding protocols designed to keep you and others safe). You can contact the service in the following ways:

Support for Adults (25 and over)

The West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network (DAWN) works across the whole of West Sussex and is divided into 3 locality areas:

North (Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex), West (Bognor Regis and Chichester areas) and Coastal (Adur, Littlehampton, Shoreham and Worthing) areas.

Due to the current situation the service is not able to offer face-to-face appointments but telephone support from the friendly, non-judgmental team is still available.

Families & Friends Network

The Families & Friends Network supports anyone affected by someone else's drug and/or alcohol use. All services are confidential, and you can receive free information, advice and support. For more information visit the Carers Support West Sussex website or telephone on 0300 028 8888.
